What we do

Ethiopique is established to serve as a bridge to the Ethiopian & Eritrean community in the DC-Metro area. We provide marketing, graphics, PR, event management and research that are customized to accommodate the culture and understanding of immigrant communities in the United States. We help businesses, non-profits and government offices that wish to address these communities with proven strategies and innovative behavioral approaches including but not limited to Human Centered Design. Our team of research consultants love to interact closely with clients to understand their markets, their brands, their consumers. Our approaches stem from the fact that the communities we are engaging have an entirely different upbringing and culture, which intern affects their behavior. We use participatory action research approach to observe and contextualize problems with the community and come up with innovative strategies to address these communities and pursue towards a desired action. Furthermore we try and integrate technology or other useful and acceptable tools in order to solve problems in social and behavioral areas. In some cases we scale on the innovative solutions we derived from our experiential and participatory researches. We leverage resources to understand local language, culture and communities when it can have an impact on research insights.
